kristina was eight years old when her mother gave her her first camera. she has been behind the lens of a camera ever since. kristina's first models were her little sister and the family rabbits. seduced by rock n' roll, kristina began shooting local and touring bands in and around california's bay area. this resulted in the publication of one of her photographs in alternative press magazine when she was seventeen. in the summer of 2007, kristina relocated from denton, texas to alexandria, virginia. bands and musicians remain one of kristina's favorite subjects to photograph. her work graces the websites of several musicians, and has been featured in record album artwork and published in the dallas observer, quick dfw, fort worth weekly, and venues magazine. not content to limit herself to shooting musicians, kristina's portraits and off the cuff photography are also important components of her work. canon digital rebel 300d canon eos rebel g holga 120s olympus om-1 md polaroid one-step 600 kristina@negativecowgirl.org
